Important Update for All DBE and ACDBE Firms

As of October 3, 2025, the U.S. Department of Transportation issued an Interim Final Rule requiring all DBE and ACDBE firms certified prior to the effective date of the IFR be reevaluated. On March 2, 2026, all California Unified Certification Program (CUCP) agencies began the statewide reevaluation process for all DBE and ACDBE firms certified in California.

Please note, no DBE/ACDBE goals may be set and no DBE/ACDBE participation may be counted until the entire CUCP completes the reevaluation process as required under 49 CFR § 26.111. For this reason, the CUCP DBE/ACDBE directory has been taken down temporarily while all CUCP agencies complete this process. The directory will return once statewide re-evaluations are complete.

If you were an active certified DBE or ACDBE firm as of October 3, 2025, and you have not received information about the steps required for reevaluation, or have any additional questions, please contact your DBE/ACDBE certifying agency for assistance.
